Water Safety Education Program—2025

About:

"Beach Smart for Life" program, which focuses on enhancing water safety knowledge among Chinese international students in Australia. Supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations, this program includes water survival skills, CPR training, and beach safety sessions. Our goal is to recruit 100 Chinese Australian participants for each program delivery, fostering a deeper connection to water safety in multicultural communities.

Participants will enjoy free lunch and snacks, receive exclusive merchandise and gift bags, and earn an certification upon completion of the program.

Date: Saturday 1st of November 2025

• 9:00 AM – Welcome & Program Overview

• 10:00 AM – Pool Safety

• 11:00 AM – CPR Training

• 2:00 PM – Rescues

• 3:00 PM – Beach Safety

Multicultural Water Safety and Education Program

Royal Life Saving SA is partnering with Rotary Club of St Peters to teach Multicultural Adults Water Safety and Education on Mondays.

This course is a welcoming space for adults from all cultural backgrounds to:

• Build and improve their swimming skills

• Boost your health and wellbeing

• Meet and connect with others in the community

• Educate yourself on the water safety

• Brush up on your CPR and First Aid Knowledge

Date: 19th May – 20th June 2025, Monday nights

Time: 6:45pm – 8:30pm

Location: The Oaks Swim Centre, 11 Blacks Rd, Gilles Plains SA 5086

Age Group: 18+

Participant Limit: 20 people

Please note: This is a 6-week program and no makeup lessons will be available.
