FREE Lifesaving Skills
Royal Life Saving SA are hosting a FREE Pool Lifeguard Course of the Mid-Murry and surrounding communities. Aimed to increase local capability, employment opportunities and develop fundamental water safety skills. Proudly supported by the Government of Australia and Royal Life Saving Australia.

Time – 9-5 both days.

Riverland Water Safety Forum
In light of the distressing 17 drowning fatalities recorded in the Riverland region between July 2002 and June 2023, urgent action is needed from the community to prevent further loss.
Government, industry and community groups involved with swimming and aquatic recreation are encouraged to participate in a two-day roundtable on the 6-7 May 2024.
This is your opportunity to keep your loved ones safe and contribute to the development of the local strategy to prevent drowning across the region.
Royal Life Saving is extending an invitation to all agencies, organisations, and individuals in the Riverland region who are interested in community water safety. Those in attendance will participate in the collaborative two-day roundtable to establish pathways for collective action towards making the Riverland safer.
